Visa Overview
- Visa Type: Tourist Visa (TR)
- Entry: Single Entry
- Stay Duration: Up to 60 days
- Processing Time: 5–7 Working Days
Required Documents
Visa Application Form & Photo
Applicants must submit:
- Completed and signed Thailand visa application form
- Two (2) recent passport size photos
- Size: 3.5 × 4.5 cm
- White background
- Taken within last 6 months
Passport Requirements
- Original passport with minimum 6 months validity
- At least two blank pages
- Photocopy of passport bio page
- Copies of previous visas (if any)
Cover Letter (Addressed to Royal Thai Embassy, Dhaka)
The cover letter must mention:
- Travel purpose (Tourism)
- Intended travel dates
- Duration of stay
- Who will bear the travel expenses
- Applicant’s occupation details
Flight Reservation
- Confirmed round-trip flight booking
- Must clearly show entry and exit from Thailand
Hotel Booking / Accommodation Proof
Provide any one:
- Confirmed hotel reservation for entire stay
OR - Invitation letter from host in Thailand + copy of host passport/ID
Bank Statement & Financial Proof
Applicants must provide:
- Last 6 months bank statement (original & bank stamped)
- Bank solvency certificate
Minimum recommended balance:
- Individual: BDT 60,000 – 80,000
- Family: BDT 150,000+
Occupation Documents
For Service Holders
- No Objection Certificate (NOC) from employer
- Office ID card copy
- Salary certificate or recent pay slips
For Business Owners
- Trade License copy
- Visiting card
- Company pad with seal
For Students
- Student ID copy
- NOC from school/college/university
For Housewives
- Marriage certificate copy
- Husband’s NOC and bank statement
National ID / Birth Certificate
- Copy of NID (English version)
OR - Birth certificate (for minors)
Visa Fee
- Thailand Tourist Visa Fee: 6500 BDT with Processing fee.
- Fee may change without prior notice.
Additional Documents for Minors
If a child is travelling:
- Birth certificate
- Parents’ passport copies
- Consent letter if one parent is not travelling
Important Notes
- All documents must be printed on A4 paper
- Bank statements must be officially stamped by the bank
- Fake hotel bookings or tickets may lead to visa rejection
